ShowMotion’s founder and president, William M. Mensching, was born and raised in a show business family, which dates back to the Vaudeville era of theater. (Mr. Mensching’s great grandfather established a theatrical hauling company utilizing horse-drawn carts to transport stage scenery from venue to venue. His grandfather was the master carpenter for the original Schubert brothers and managed the set construction shop for CBS television, and his father was the layout and general foreman at Feller Scenic Studios, prior to becoming production manager for Radio City Music Hall.) Mr. Mensching opened his first scene shop in 1977 in Danbury, Connecticut. Since that time, he has successfully completed over 800 entertainment-based projects.
